Dendrite
You climb a pillar of rock and sit down on top. From up here you can see for miles.
You take out your compass.
Looking north, you see an endless forest stretch on and on. Something moving catches your eye, a few miles away. Could it be a survivor, or perhaps a pack of animals?
Looking south, you see mountains in the distance. However, you would have to cross a rocky, barren expanse.
Looking west, you see a marsh. You had previously discovered a small lake near the edge that contained small fish, though you had no way of catching them.
Looking east, you see the remains of the airplane. It was a smaller jet, only holding a few hundred people. Off in the distance, you spy a piece of the plane you had previously overlooked.
You have seen all you can from up here, and you climb down.
Where should you go?
- Begin walking north in the forest towards the moving object.
- Begin your trek south towards the mountains.
- Start walking west to the marsh.
- Investigate the piece of wreckage in the distance and begin walking east.
