An Eternity

It's been a while now, since you died, and every day is the same kind of monotonous deal.

You were never the adventurous type, and have certainly never attempted to do anything as a ghost besides your normal routine.

Float.

Stare.

Frown a bit.

Float some more.

Its getting boring, you think, to float about like this. It's no fun, certainly.

As you float there on the street, wrapped in your thoughts like a heavy blanket on a cold day, you absentmindedly look at the TV screen in the store next to you.

It's playing some sort of movie, you think. It has been so long, you haven't seen a movie in a while. Maybe it's a good one.

You float up to the screen and watch as the woman onscreen runs fairly quickly down a dark hallway.

She turns, eyes bloodshot and face a mask of horror, screaming into the camera.

Then the camera pans away from her and towardo humanoid thing, shaped much like a man wearing a white bedsheet.

You regard it curiously. What is this?

  1. A comedy, obviously.
  2. Stupid.
  3. A ghost!
